Team Sonic Racing “Driving for Hope” Raises Over $5,000
A just concluded Team Sonic Racing focused fund drive raised over $5,200 for charity.
Driving for Hope, which featured streamers Garrulous64, Tracker_TD, Evan of Tails Channel, Sonic Retro’s Neo Hazard, and others, raised money for Special Effect, which helps players with disabilities continue to enjoy the games they love. Sega’s Aaron Webber and Katie Chrzanowski also lent their support on-stream and through promoting the event on personal accounts, respectively.
Organizer Dave Luty expressed his gratitude in a Tweet late Tuesday night.
The fundraiser’s goal was raised after being met the first day of streaming. A four-figure donation in the second day aided in the overall total.
