Introducing the "Metallic Madness" Twitter Competition

There’s some sort of basketball competition going on the next several weeks. We wanted to have a little fun with it–unfortunately, none of us are very good at basketball. We are, however, a very social bunch–as are all of you! Now it’s time to put those skills to the test.
To mark Sonic’s 25th anniversary so coincidentally with the ongoing college basketball tournament and with Saturday’s SXSW panel, TSSZ presents your field of 64 for the first ever Metallic Madness competition!
 
Here’s how it works: When the games are on, we’ll be running a head-to-head on our Twitter feed. Be sure to follow us so you can cast your vote, because you’ll only have 2 hours to vote on each match. Winners move to the next round and are one step closer to becoming King of the Ring. Losers are eliminated.

Each “team” was randomly seeded within one of four themed divisions, Little Planet, Chaotix, Mobius, and Community. We anticipate that last one to get quite competitive. But it’s all in the name of good fun, and to take our minds off the fact we’re no good at basketball.
The first rounds start this Thursday and Friday. Voting for the round of 32 continues on Saturday and Sunday, and we continue to widdle it down next week and the week after until we have a King of the Ring!  Here’s when each match in the first round will be held (all times approximate):
