SEGA On Western PSO2 PC Release: “We’re Working Behind The Scenes For Potential Solutions”
Phantasy Star Online 2 may be the strangest SEGA game to not be released in the west. The past few years have been nothing but release dates, reassuring that it’s happening, and more.
Now it is happening again.
While they said there are no plans to bring the PS4 version out west the PC version does not have the same fate. In fact, in a statement to Segalization, they specifically mention it:
With regards to the PC version, we are working behind the scenes on potential solutions to bring it to the West. As soon as any information becomes available, we will share it.
It’s not much, seeing as the “we’re working on it” statements have been a trend from SEGA, but to hear it yet again after near silence for a year is better than nothing. And in a year dominated by silence getting any information at all is always nice.
