Fan Fridays: Flipbook Animations

The early 2010’s were a different time for Sonic animation. While today we can find a plethora of films from fans and SEGA alike, back then things were a bit simpler, relying on means such as Newgrounds and flipbook animations. BloodyRenegadeX is an epitome of the latter, having produced some of the best-known examples to date. These things went viral back in their heyday, and it’s easy to see why. With all the high-speed action and fun expressions at play here, these videos make for an exciting watch even today. So whether it’s a nostalgic stroll down memory lane or a whole new experience, we hope you enjoy these animations.
