At long last, the wait is nearly over. In approximately two weeks, the Sonic 25th party in San Diego will commence. The overnight hours of July 22nd will no doubt be a busy one, perhaps even the busiest of the year. And it comes on the heels of what ended up being a busy June and a busy birthday for Sonic. One thing is for sure. Our article wishing Sonic a happy birthday was very well received, and a lot of you expressed your happiness or disappointment at being a Sonic fan right now. So, it’s no surprise that we asked you if you were happy to be a Sonic fan after 25 years of the brand. The results are as follows:
Yes (80%, 623 Votes)
No (11%, 87 Votes)
Undecided (9%, 71 Votes)
Total Voters: 781
It seems a lot of you are happy to be Sonic fans!
Sonic’s birthday may be done, but the anniversary celebrations have not. And everyone’s eyes are on San Diego for the ensuing festivities. We now know that something major, very likely the next main game, is being shown off. This is due to remarks by Iizuka at last month’s Tokyo Joypolis gathering and, of course, hints and cryptic teasers. It’s also possible we may find out more info about other stuff, such as the Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice and the Sonic Boom cartoon. It’s all hands on deck for July 22nd, and we will be bringing you all the latest from the party as it ensues. Our questions will finally be answered in two weeks. Stay tuned.
As for the TSSZ polls, we have a new poll up now. The next one will be a few days late due to the two-week deadline occurring the same week as the party, so we’ll have a post-party one up overnight on July 22nd/23rd with your reactions to the event. For now, feel free to leave a comment on the previous and/or current polls down below.
