Longclaw from Sonic Movie Joins Sonic Forces Speed Battle

It’s always wise to question anything that appears on the Internet on April 1st–even in a time where the most elaborate ruse may not be well received.

It’s why, understandably, there was some skepticism yesterday when Hardlight announced it would be adding Sonic movie staple Longclaw to its large roster of characters in Sonic Forces: Speed Battle for mobile:

Today, Hardlight confirmed it’s not a joke:

Longclaw will join Teen Sonic and Baby Sonic for a two week movie-themed event, almost certainly tied to the film’s digital release earlier this week.
