Japanese Sonic 25th Site Opens, Joypolis Party Announced

If you feel that Sonic’s 25th anniversary hasn’t begun yet, that might just change now.

Japan has launched the official Sonic 25th Anniversary website. So far not much is on it, except details of a few events and merchandise.

However one of the events listed is one we didn’t know previously. SEGA of Japan is holding another Sonic birthday party at Tokyo Joypolis on Saturday, June 25th. Details are small, but it’s likely there will be special merchandise and members of Sonic Team attending.

Whatever the case, if we learn about a new game, it might just come from this new site. And the launch of the new site is a sign that SEGA has officially begun celebrations of the anniversary.
