Bayonetta 2 – Nintendo Direct Gameplay Trailer/Footage

A clock tower falls and everything begins again it seems for Bayonetta in Bayonetta 2 with a mysterious warrior from Heaven out to get her and with both Heaven and Hell now after her soul. New short hairdo, new blue guns and with partner Jeanne (now sporting long hair in an apparent swap) taken by the forces of darkness in the trailer its up to our favourite lollypop-loving witch to save the day. Surely pleasing to fans worried that Nintendo’s influence might result in a downshift in terms of viceral content, the gory finishers are still in there  as you will see.

Platinum Games long awaited sequel is out on Wii U in 2014.  But who is this holy warrior and who is the mysterious boy who decends at the end?
