Weekday Sonic Boom Airings Only Temporary
The recently added weekday airings of the Sonic Boom cartoon seem to be only temporary according to the official Sonic Twitter:
Perhaps the airings are only to keep the show out there while the holiday hiatus continues. We’ll see. Nevertheless don’t expect to see this airings into the new year.

Nice. Still waiting for CN to start posting episodes xfinity On Demand, though, so I don’t have to wake up at 7 every Saturday morning…
Personally, I DVR them after the first 2 weeks of getting up that morning.
Almost forgot there aren’t any new episodes till next year. Guess I can sleep in.
I usually have to record them via VCR. Yeah, I’m oldschool like that I guess…
Well, hopefully it adds more viewers to the earlier show, even if it means they’re just DVR/VCRing it. And if CN has the generosity to move one of the the billion reruns of TTG (Seems like they just rerun the same 5 or something) during the evening one of these days maybe the show can catch some lethargic kids after the school day who don’t give a crap what the hell is on the TV. Trust me, it works. 😛
Honestly at this point it’d be good for CN to get another show under their belt. Rerunning the same 5 eps of TTG isn’t going to work forever.
I agree with you once again, Dolphina. Teen Titans Go is successful because kids who know nothing of Teen Titans watch it. This success is something Sonic Boom so desperately needs. Like Sonic X before, I really hope that Sonic Boom (the show, not the games) becomes a gateway to the franchise for kids.
The problem is…. Saturday mornings! Why such an outdated timeslot?! Why not after school or weekday evenings when most people are watching Cartoon Network’s more successful shows! Ugh! Both Cartoon Network’s and Sega’s decisions have made me MAD!
Absolutely. I do not encourage that the TV show becomes a gateway to the games, because as I look forward to picking ROL up one of these days to fish for glitches, supporting the crappy quality isn’t going to help at all. I hope it opens some people’s eyes up to the great games the main franchise has to offer.
I have no idea, because to be frank, after a week of school we’re not too eager to wake up at that hour. Best-case-scenerio, I record it. Sometimes Youtube has to work. About an hour after school/Saturday evening would be the prime time slot. The handing of this show is going to cause it to flop if they don’t work on it, and it’s not going to flop because of quality, but because of marketing.
Was this a money hat?
? :s ?
*facepalm*
That stinks… I hope they start airing it daily again, after they air enough episodes, at least.
As soon as this show starts to look like a rival to Teen Titans Go!, it’s gonna disappear in the night, thanks to the Secret Cartoon Police.
What’s that? You’ve never heard of the Secret Cartoon Police? Well, have you ever noticed when a cartoon that isn’t insanely popular, but pretty decent with lots of potential, gets something of a following, disappears inexplicably? That’s the Secret Cartoon Police. They aren’t tied to any particular network. They’re very good at what they do. You don’t know when they’re present. You only know where they’ve been.
And now you know too much. Quick! Don’t think about a cartoon you really enjoy! It’ll be the first that disappears in order to send you a “message”! I’m immune, of course. All the cartoons I liked are already dead. I refuse to get interested in the newer cartoons so that they won’t suffer the same fate. No need to thank me.
Oh boy… I’m not even a fan of this show, but wow, I’m really starting to feel for the people who like the show now. Just… why, CN? And you’re only gonna be airing the same 8 11 minute episodes over and over again for a month? …Not a good time to take a mid-season break, imo. At least have 13 episodes out before pulling something like that, since I believe there’s supposed to be 52 episodes produced.
Ugh… I miss the old CN.
