Tentative Summer of Sonic Location Revealed

Over the weekend, organizers for the 2011 Summer of Sonic fan convention in London revealed their “intended” location.  Barring Sega rejecting the contract, Kevin Eva and Svend Joscelyne have selected the Camden Centre in Central London.

The venue includes a stage built into the main hall, and a second hall that will offer refreshments and planned merchandise.  The location does include air conditioning, and is easily accessible via public transportation.

Said Joscelyne on the planned location:

The venue is a large-sized community hall that has been used for a whole manner of professional events – from club nights to televised political debates and monstrous banquets. In terms of what it could offer us as a space, and after visiting the very friendly management there, the SoS team feels that Camden Centre is the perfect place to hold Sonic the Hedgehog’s 20th Anniversary.
