1. I can’t believe people still ask why sonic is in a car after all this time. Sega answered this question like 4 or 5 times already!

   1. people just wanna try and look clever with by using the same dumb joke over and over.

Except you know this game having a a legit reason for him not to be in a car, Sega egged this on with the bullshit Sonic R tease they could have tried making this kart formula worked sans kart now that it’s just Sonic characters but nope we instead get something that looks dumbed down Transformed with lame Iizuka crap like team and egg pawns, I bet the puny roster is his fault too and vetoed Sumo’s choices.

      1. sega didnt egg anything, this is not even the first time this question has been asked as there been two (recent in terms of years) racing games with sonic in it a people still ask this after sega gave them an answer, they only reason why they now made it part of the story because of people like this when regardless if there is a legit reason or not its a damn game! nobody questions when mario who supposed to be a plumber racing? why cause he human, and did karting first, oh please. as for your comment with izuka i am not even going to say anything about that one

         1. They put out a teaser that dangled Sonic R in front of fans which sets up certain expectations, they asked for it when they referenced the one on foot Sonic racing game like that. Sonic has far more racing elements than Mario including drifting, this could be adapted to a new Sonic R style game unlike Mario so that comparison doesn’t work. Not much to say when it’s probably true, Sega is suicidal with the Sonic brand for not putting him the dog house, Sega saw fit to drag him out with his usual politician answers (that is utter bullshit and non answers) rather than the one of the fine chaps at Sumo who have busted their ass putting out fine games for them while Iizuka puts out strings of failures.

   3. I think this is more of a matter of “why would you choose to make a game about Sonic in car” rather then “Whats the context of him being in a car”

      1. there shouldn’t even be a need for a context, sheesh its just a game, sometimes people can be ridiculous, and again my point being they answered that already, so they need to stop asking lol
