Sonic Movie JP Trailer Reveals Different VA

A 30 second trailer released for prospective audiences of the Sonic movie in Japan this morning revealed an interesting tidbit and parallel: the hedgehog’s long standing VA won’t have a role in the movie there either.

The trailer, which contains a small bit of new footage, also reveals that Junichi Kanemaru’s voice is nowhere to be heard on the trailer. It is a scenario similar to Roger Craig Smith’s no-show on the English side, with actor and comedian Ben Schwartz voicing the hedgehog in the film.

Who is voicing Sonic in the Japan dub is unknown, with details forthcoming.
