Sonic Boom TV Ratings – Season 2 Week 33
The second season of Sonic Boom has only 19 episodes to go. Soon, there will be a table containing all the ratings data for the season. For now, we have some more ratings to share with you, which are related to, as of this article’s writing, the most recent Sonic Boom premiere:
This show NEEDS a season 3, I don’t want the creative energy they’ve got going now to die off, it’s been the saving grace of the whole Boom brand. Actually, if recent patterns are to be believed, it might be the only remaining part of the Boom brand still alive. Maybe that means that Sega will eventually discontinue it, but I’d say that it still has enough life left in it for one more good run. Season 2 is already surprisingly better than season 1, which was still okay at the very least, so I’d really love to see if that pattern can continue with at least one more season before things end for Boom, cause really this is the only source left where we can get anything admittedly “different” from the franchise.
As indifferent as I am to Boom, I wholeheartedly agree. Sega has been systematically ruining and/or retiring all of the branches of Sonic outside of the main “Modern & Classic” line. Spin-off titles have all but been buried by the time Colors came out outside of the Olympic Games and mobile phone games, Ken Penders shot the comics in both legs and now the series is laying there bleeding out while Archie and Sega argue over who gets to pull the trigger to put it out of it’s misery, there’s no cartoons to speak of aside from Boom, no other comics or manga, even the movie they planned is in development hell.
This is pretty much the last stand for anything that isn’t Modern or Classic Sonic.
Not much a last stand Boom can make when Cartoon Network wants it dead, thinking that Boom was gonna be the rebirth of the franchise and trusting the cutthroats at Cartoon Network has to be one of the biggest mistakes they’ve ever made. That along with Lost World killed the momentum they had growing since 2010 but I guess that’s par for the course when Iizuka doesn’t even know what momentum is.
if Sonic Boom gets a third season which I hope it does then it needs to move somewhere else I missed the last 2 episodes and the only way I can watch 1 of them is by watching the Sticks and Amy’s Excellent Staycation re-run after Inn Sanity if my TV actually records the show this time
It’s hard for people to watch this show and there’s no easy way of watching it so if the show gets another season then it needs to move to a place where people can easily watch it and in good quality
