
Sonic Appreciation Festival 2015 Announced
Japan’s Sonic fan convention, the “Sonic Appreciation Festival,” has been announced for this year. It will take place on December 27th, at Sega’s Tokyo Joypolis location. It will be the event’s second year.

Readers with a good memory will recall that it was last year’s Sonic Appreciation Festival that finally gave us our first tease at this year’s Sonic Runners. Given the significance of 2016 being the 25th Anniversary of the little blue guy, could we possibly get another tease of the future at this Festival? Only time will tell.
Over at the official page for the event, they promise appearances by Takashi Iizuka, Tomoya Ohtani, Jun Senoue and Yuji Uekawa, plus live music, cosplay contests, autographing ceremonies, and exclusive event-specific merchandise. A high level of attendance may be expected, as the page notes there will be standing room only for stage events.
