Sonic 4 CD To Appear August, iTunes Versions Out Now

SEGA Japan has announced via their Sonic subsite that the digital versions of the Sonic 4 soundtrack will go live on iTunes hopefully today, including US and European regions. This is in addition to the tracks being made available on Amazon MP3 in Japan.

The physical release will be a combined album of 54 tracks worth 1,890 yen that will contain a special Splash Hill Zone medley as a bonus. Another bonus from getting the track lists are we FINALLY know the official names for the cutscenes. This will be available from August 1st.

The soundtracks for Episode I and II have been separated out for iTunes with Episode I comprising twenty-three tracks and Episode II comprising thirty of them. Tracks are going to be worth 150 yen (£0.79/$0.99) each whilst the full album will cost 600 yen for EP I and 900 yen (£7.99/$9.99) for EP II.
