Sega to Discuss Genesis Mini at GDC 2020
Sega fans may get their first good glimpse of how the Sega Genesis’s return to store shelves for generations new and old fared at the 2020 Game Developers’ Conference in San Francisco.
Sega’s Yosuke Okunari will join M2’s CEO Naoki Horii in presenting the conceptualization and development of the Mini as part of a Design track conference. Titled Genesis Mini: Sega’s Return to Hardware After 20 Years, the panel is intended for “Industry members who grew up loving the Genesis!”
We can’t find a specific date the panel will take place, but it’s likely to occur on the back half of GDC, which will occur from Monday, March 16th through Friday, March 20th. We’ll afford more details as we get them.
Another bad emulator… Probably…. BlastEm or Exodus FTW.
