SAGE 2018 is Now Open

The virtual doors have been opened for the 2018 Sonic Amateur Games Expo.

Principally organized again this year by Neo Hazard of Sonic Retro, the expo this year consists of nearly 100 demos, spanning an array of franchises from the video game world. As always, Sonic is well represented, but this year, you’ll be able to play fare from the Mario, Kirby, Shantae, Crash Bandicoot, Mega Man, and more.  As has been the case in recent years, there is a continued uptick in original titles on the SAGE stage as well.

SAGE will also host two major names for Q&As via the SFGHQ Discord. Ian Flynn, head writer of the IDW Sonic comics, will chat with fans there later tonight. And on Wednesday, Mike Pollock, the now 15-year tenured voice of Eggman, will also make a stop there.

The entire TSSZ team is here to cover the largest celebration of our community’s creativity to date. Beginning later today and for every day of SAGE, you’ll see booth overviews covering every single title showcased at SAGE 2018. We’ll bring you everything you need to know from the Flynn and Pollock interviews, and Rybo has a few additional ones he’s working on now. You’ll also see Ryan Bloom’s mini-reviews of everything you can play, while Lou and Noah will be playing a wide variety of the demos next Wednesday and Friday live on TSSZ Plus.
