RUMOR: DC Network Announcement Soon?

It looks like something is going to happen very soon, but the question is, will it? Here’s a rumor reported about a major title in the PC Network Playing arena, Quake III Arena, and how it may tie in to the DC Network:

Word has it, according to inside reports and several websites, that Sega of America will be making a HUGE announcement over the Dreamcast version of Quake III Arena, which is currently receiving massive praise from PC players everywhere. It appears that Sega will be publishing Quake III for DC, and, yes, it is going to have NetPlay fully intact upon release!

We’ll see what Sega officially says this week, but, who knows? Maybe they’ll have some other titles in tow as well…perhaps even the much-discussed Virtual On 2.
