Burger King and Rovio Entertainment have announced a global campaign that will bring “Angry Birds” plush toys to Burger King Jr. meals alongside an immersive new augmented-reality experience. Visitors can access the AR technology, which is built with Zappar’s WebAR technology, by scanning a QR code inside the restaurants and on items such as plush toys and meal packaging. The campaign runs through May 31st in most regions. In the United States and Canada, it runs from May 10th through June 20th.
