Music from Sonic and other Sega’s games coming to MaiMai
Sega Japan has uploaded a trailer on their official YouTube channel who announces that from now on, some Sega games music will be available to rock on MaiMai, an arcade rhythm game by Sega only available at Japan ( or at least, for the moment. And looks like forever).
The songs are from several Sega known IP’s, or at least, the some of most known IP’s in Japan. Sonic can’t be out of this, of course.
Reach from the Stars, main theme from Sonic Colors, will be avalaible along with City Escape act 1 and Rooftop Run act 1 from Sonic Generations. But not only sonic. Sega Japan’s mecha action arcade game Border Break will have two themes too, Urban Crusher and Catch the Future ( this one, from Border Break Union). The last theme is coming from The Rub Rabbits, sequel to the infamous Feel the Magic XY/XX, one of the first titles to be released with Nintendo DS back in 2004.
You can see down below said trailer, and also a small documentary about Sega MaiMai, so you can have a faint idea of how the game is.
Wow that looks like a lot of fun
Aaaaah man I love maimai, but when I played there were only like 2 songs worth playing, so this is good news. It gets crazy difficult on the higher levels!
Samba de Amigo: Touch Screen Edition.
Probably the only arcade rhythm game I wouldn’t be awful at (can’t dance).
