SEGA Focused On Turning Sonic Into “An Entertainment Icon, Not Just A Games Icon”
The latest MCV issue came out, which contained a bit on Sonic’s 25th anniversary. In it, Sonic Chief Brand Officer Ivo Gerscovich mentioned how they want to expand the Sonic brand into more than just video games.
“We are really focused on turning Sonic into and entertainment icon, not just a games icon. We want to go across all platforms and elevate his status event further, which explains why we are doing so much.”
