Archie Adapting Sonic And All Stars Racing Transformed

That’s right folks-as seen in this sneak peek that SSMB user chaoscontrol14 has found in the latest issue of Sonic Universe, #44, Archie plan to adapt the upcoming All Stars Racing Transformed into a comic-and from the looks of thing, Danica Patrick is making her comic book debut!

…and yet this is so very confusing-how on earth they’re going to do a tie in to a racing game with little discernible plot baffles me, but we can assume it’ll follow the new Story Mode with the islands going on in the actual game. Either way, this should be pretty interesting to see, if not a bit odd. It also suggests we’ll of course see other SEGA Superstars such as Vyse and Beat-which is now making me wish Archie would do a JSR comic… if only.

And yes, I still have no idea how they’ll write Danica Patrick in…

I didn’t think too much of the cover when they release it a few months back, gotta say though, that art right there. Gorgeous.

I’m quite interested to see which characters make it into the comic and which don’t. I’m sure it will be one of those alternate dimension stories, like all the recent games have been so as not to interfere with the main storyline. But I’m very much looking forward to this.
