A Sonic The Hedgehog 3D Animated Series Is Premiering On Netflix In 2022

On the day of The Game Awards 2020, an announcement was made on Twitter that a Sonic The Hedgehog animated series is on the way. Not only that, but it will be premiering in 2022. However, the tweet ended up being deleted not long after it had been posted.

Man of Action and Wildbrain are making it. The former worked on many shows, including Ben 10, Generator Rex, and Mega Man Fully Charged. The latter, formally known as DHX Media, helped with Mega Man Fully Charged, and they also own the rights to DiC Entertainment’s library. DiC Entertainment became defunct in 2008.
