Sonic Advertises Car Insurance In The US, Is Left Speechless

Our hedgehog friend has moved back into the realm of TV advertising it seems with this commercial from the US for Progressive Corporation known more commonly as just Progressive, a New York Stock Exchange listed insurance company based out of Mayfield Village, Ohio but also does business in Australia. For those not familiar with them they are highly successful, generating $15 billion (US) worth of revenue in 2010 alone, were ranked 164 in the US Fortune 500 rankings and are one of the largest auto insurance companies in America – serving 10 million policies.

Quite why Sonic was chosen is a little bit of a mystery, but we’ve asked them if they could tell us a bit more about what went on.
