SEGA Stories: Guinness World Records Cosplay Event (2008)

In 2008 Kevin invited DiGi Valentine and partner TRiPPY to represent SEGA Europe as Guinness World Records looked to launch their first gaming edition by setting an initial record for ‘largest number of people cosplaying’.

This meant flying the pair down from Edinburgh – and also meant DiGi was going to be donning the official Sonic costume. In 2019, DiGi recounted his tale, but in this first ‘SEGA Stories’ video, Kevin watches through it and reacts with his own tale of what was going on behind the scenes at the time.

Including why they ended up having to stay in SEGA’s Old Street office overnight in the first place, and another LMC connection that was never mentioned…
