Let’s Race Presents: Race For Good 2020

Since 2018, Andy “The British Andy” Wilson and Pete “TitansCreed” Nethercote have been racing each other through Sonic games “classic” & “modern” raising money for Special Effect, to the extent that racing through games has become a monthly tradition for the pair. Always leading to their epitome of the year, falling on, or close to Sonic’s anniversary, the Race for Good.

In 2018, the duo set a target of $500 and raised over $600. In 2019, they set out to make £600 and made over £800! This year, the pair are aiming for £700, with goals up to £1000, including a third day of added race action, with some potentially heinous games to play! The Race for Good 2020 will take place starting June 19th at 12AM PDT / 2AM CDT / 3AM EST / 8AM BST and progressing for the majority of the day, estimating at an approx 14 hour stream. With the team returning on June 20th, and if one of the donation goals is met, June 21st!

The fan favourite donation incentives return once again this year, from nominating a player to lose a life, to oven mitts and more! We’ll even be joined by some folks from around the Sonic community while gameplay happens! We also have some Race for Good 2020 limited time merch available again this year, ALL PROFITS from the sale of these items go towards Special Effect and the end total of the donations made. The artwork this year was designed by Sofia Rey, otherwise known as Ram the Dragon. She has also designed the logo above as well as another variant of the
logo to be used for the Race for Good event.
