The World's Most Frustrating Sonic Unleashed Footage

As a Sonic fan you probably already know that watching a Sonic game played badly can be one of the world most frustrating things so before you watch this video I suggest you remove all breakable objects from around you and remember to breathe in and out deeply to calm yourself. But even this warning cannot prepare you for the horror unleashed to the Sonic Community recently.

Sonic Stadium forum member Venom found a video of Sonic Unleashed being played at French game show ‘Festival du Jeu Vidéo’. The show ran from the 26^th to the 28^th September and Unleashed was presented in a playable form to the public.

Brace yourselves then for the worst run through a Sonic level I’ve ever seen and please, try not to injure yourselves or others around you as you watch.

So the person playing might be new to Sonic games or maybe just games in general but that knowledge doesn’t make the footage any less painful to watch. I’m off to cry into my pillow now.

That scared me a sec. I thought this article was going to show bad Sonic Unleashed footage, like glitches and stuff. Good to know you meant just a bad player. Phew! xD

XD! I thought that you about to say that the contols were horrible or that the game was full of glitches C: I should’ve read the whole thing

okay at the beggining he was playing fine the part where he starts jumping for the robots was painful to watch and did anyone notice many framerate problems? cause i didnt plus the game looks very smooth

First I thought it was because the guy was trying to hold the camera THEN play the game at the same time…
…then the camera showed the person playing it.
The level looks cool though, and it does look a lot longer than the version that was shown at Leipzig.

Okay so you press the A button to jump, then you quickly press it again in mid-air to dash into those enemies, not try to jump on top of them. That was this persons first mistake, he almost thought he had to jump perfectly onto each enemy in mid-air, instead he fell to his death every time. Poor Sonic.

Well, it was being played by an idiot and didn’t look too glitchy, this actually makes me look forward more.
But still, DUR DUR, HOMING ATTACK.

Wow…………….he makes my little brother look good……….he missed the homing attack part 10 TIMES!!!

That girl who was playing must´ve been new to Sonic´s 3D games! Or she didn´t know the controls! ^_^

Although funny, it’s still good to see more scenes and details (such as branching paths) in the stage in slow gameplay. ^^

Wow, this is really terrible camera work. I mean, sure, most people never hold cameras steady – I get that it may be tricky to do that. But this guy doesn’t seem to know anything about actually focusing on the screen at all, and to top it off, the person playing the game is terrible.
Most frustrating indeed.

GAH! MY APPENDIX! MY SPLEIN! As IF I couldn’t hate Unleashed, OR Venom anymore -.- Damn you, Venom! Just you wait until November 2nd!

Does this guy even know how to play a Sonic game?

Maybe the game is harder than we thought! SEGA is catering towards veteran gamers and an older target audience now with an incredibly challenging title!
….or maybe the person playing the game just really, REALLY sucks.
