The Three Sonic Movie Renders That Have Leaked Are Not The Final Designs
At this point, the past week’s headlines could be a Sonic movie of its own.
TailsChannel has received new information from a source close to the film’s production that, while the leaked renders are authentic, they are not the final designs. In fact, they are screenshots of a video that was pitched to Sony before Paramount took over. We have edited our previous posts about the renders to account for this development. The style guide renders are not final, but they are the closest rendering to the finalised design.

Maybe the final design will just be a grey amorphous blob, because they can’t make up their minds. Which is always reassuring to see for a supposed special artistic vision!
Yeah just like how Sonic 4 was going to see big changes when it was delayed instead of just replacements for the mobile levels and a play a next level button, what I’m saying this is typical FUD PR for typical ugly hollywood CGI cartoon animal. Does TailsChannel ever post anything really critical, what I mean is they feel like a lot of Youtube like GameXplain where they have a tone of unofficial PR, I’m watching their discussion video on the movie design and while one guy is critical the tone is similar the one RLM’s Nerd Crew video mock where everything is “very cool”.
I will still love Sonic regardless of what the do to his final design. I still have the original Sonic from the games and cartoons. I don’t think they can make Sonic less cute… can they?
Well, we survived Boom…This is another story…I get that they’re trying a ‘realistic’ detail giving it’s live action and all…But there’s nothing ‘realistic’ about a little blue hedgehog in sneakers that runs super fast, could of just kept the modern look and gave his quills/fur a more detailed HD look for the individual strands.
