Super Mario World Now on Wii Virtual Console

The big release to Nintendo’s Virtual Console service this week was Super Mario World, Shigeru Miyamoto’s 16-bit classic that helped SNES compete against Sonic and the Sega Genesis in 1991.  It will cost 800 Wii points, 8 dollars, to download.

Other releases this week include Vigilante from the TG-16 at 6 bucks, and Gain Ground from Sega, at 8 bucks.
