Study: Sega #2 in Japan Console Race
The Nikkei Industrial Daily conducted a survey, and it showed that while Sony’s PlayStation and PlayStation 2 are still at the top in Japan, Sega has finally returned to second place in the console race. There was a slight increase in Dreamcast ownership, according to the survey. Nintendo fell to third place, with overall ownership falling four percent. Sega was in a solid second place with the Saturn in Japan, and it’s great to see Sega falling in the middle again, in comparison to being dead last.
