St. Louis Passes Video Game Regulation Ordinance
It just happened, and it’s being referred to as a “Public Health Ordinance”. The measure prohibits gamers under seventeen from buying or renting games that are deemed excessively violent or sexual without a parent’s permission. The measure goes into effect November 10th, unless the AAMA and AMOA bring another lawsuit to the city, claiming that the law is unconstitutional. It happened once in Indianapolis, it can happen again. I’ll get you updates on the issue when they develop.
