SRB2 Kart v1.1 Released, Hints at V2

On Wednesday, the Kart Krew, the team behind the much celebrated and much played Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart, released version 1.1 for download. A video showcasing the changes is below. In brief, the updates include color customizations for characters, new characters including Hero Chao and Doom Guy, new stages created by the Kart community, and the ability to record and save online matches. But the Krew wasn’t quite done with announcements for the day–or at least hints of them. This Tweet dropped earlier this morning, hinting at a more significant version 2 of SRB2 Kart:

No hints beyond the Tweet on what to expect were disclosed. But it would appear a second version is now on the table, ensuring fans of the fast-paced racing smorgasbord will continue to be chasing the checkered flag for a long time to come.
