Sonic Universe #6 Preview

A preview to the upcoming July 22nd (comic shops) issue of Sonic Universe #6 has been released, posted first on the BumbleKing Comics Forums. Silver better be right this time

Finally more Silver in the comics

I’m style annoyed how bad they draw Sonic and the others….Just look how stupid he looks on the cover…and no strong shadows either, they should put in stronger shadows on some places! But still, I think Sonic universe is one of the better comics. Even if I just have been able to read some pages of the others comics in the series…why can’t they sell them in Sweden? I don’t really want ot buy it on the internet and then pay even more for the transport thingy.
*Sign* I hope they soon draw the comics better, they all have their own “unique” style. I know, but sometimes, it can be much better. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that I can do it better. But! I know much about art. And the only thing that really annoys me is the shadows, the highlight is awsome, the shadows are not strong enough on some places. That is so annoying!

This wouldn’t happen to be a soon-to-be tie-in of Sonic 06?

Sonic is looking remarkably young for a forty-something-year-old, isn’t he? Hmm, must figure out his anti-aging secret… Especially since adulthood seems to come a little earlier for Mobians…

@Osnic: I can see what you mean about the shading, but I think it’s because Sonic’s world (and, indeed, story) isn’t meant to be as dark as other comics like Batman and such. I think the colouring and shading very much suits the mood of the story. In fact, I was very surprised looking at some of the older comics and how seriously and dramatically they were drawn – I didn’t, and still don’t, think that it really fit Sonic.

Osnic: It’s Tracy Yardley!, man, you don’t diss him. He’s probably the best artist for the comics since Spaz…in my opinion.

I think Tracy is one of the best artists to ever work on the Archie Sonic comics. Just look at how much the artwork has improved since he took over.

I like Tracy`s art in the comics but Spaz doing the covers is awesome it would be awesome if Spaz & Tracy teamed up

Yes Tracy Yardely! is a very good sonic artist..but I would like to see someone else do a few of the comics, people like Steven Butler or Spaz do a fedw issues for a change.

i realy want to see scourger agien and i want to see super sonic fight super scourger i wish they do that will be so cool.

@Edwin Shy: He used to do so much more. I remember when he used to actually do the art for some of the stories. Still, he was nowhere near as incredible as my favorite, Axer. Axer was THE man.
