Sonic Rush Adventure Officially Announced
Despite Sega’s recent press release stating their intent for the Blue mascot to go into a hiatus, Sonic Rush Adventure was announced for release in Autumn of 2007. Based on the few screenshots available to the public at this time, the game features the same mechanics of the original Nintendo DS title, but instead places Sonic the Hedgehog on a pirate-esque adventure with his longtime buddy, Miles “Tails” Prower, through ghost ships, pirate villages, snowy mountains, and more.
The information released by Sega of Europe and America states that the duo will have a fleet of marine vehicles to help in their adventure to track down Captain Whiskers and his evil pirate gang, including submarines, hovercrafts, and waterbikes.
However, the usual gang of badniks are expected to appear, including robotic animals, skeletins, and much more, hinting at the connection with Dr. Eggman (one could see the obvious similarities in the supplied pictures).
Stay tuned as more info is released.
