Sonic Jump hacking reveals hidden character
The newly released update of Sonic Jump for iOS devices, “Fly Higher”, has more inside than what we’ve been told officially.
We were told that if using the Global Challenge mode, the united scores of all players will unlock a new character for everyone, but no info was revealed on which character it is.
Until the game was hacked. Russian site Sonic Scene has dug into the game files and found who the mystery character is: Blaze the Cat.
Along with that, some assets of the newly added Blue Sky Zone, unlockable wallpapers, and some cutscenes of the game are included.
*Crosses fingers* Big the Cat, Big the Cat, Big the Cat….*Opens Page* NOOOOOOOO~
Awesome
Yeah Blaze! I’m glad is her and not Big, also looking at her sprites makes me wish that Sega release Sonic Rush 3 for Nintendo 3DS/PS VIta.
@MagicalDreamer
Right? 😛
@Dante
Glad I’m not the only one that wants a Sonic Rush 3 as well.
@Dante: Sonic Rush 3 was already released. It’s called Sonic Colors for the Nintendo DS. 😛
inb4 people take my comment way too seriously
@Amuro
No you’re right. And Generations 3DS was Rush 4. 😛
@Amuro
Why shouldn’t it be taken seriously Sonic Colors DS has everything that made the Rush games and improves on it most noticeably way less bottomless pits
@SSJSonicXX14
Sonic Colors DS was pretty good but it took out the trick system form Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure, I just want another game with both Sonic and Blaze as the main characters instead of just Sonic playable only.
@Amuro
Sonic Colors DS isn’t really Sonic Rush 3 since the Rush games mainly focus on Sonic and Blaze as the main characters but it’s still a great game, Rush Adventure is my favorite though.
I was hoping for Big the Cat. 🙁
Sonic Rush 3 (5) with playable Sonic, Blaze, Tails, and Marine/Cream would be a dream.
On topic…kinda, I can’t wait to see if people start using these ‘sprites’ for things. Upset that Blaze spin jumps instead of axle jumps, though I guess it’s necessary for everyone to be nearly identical.
@SSJSonic: I was referring more to people getting offended that I compared Colors DS to Rush.
@Robo: The amount of characters or which characters are playable doesn’t define what makes the game a follow-up to Rush–it’s playstyle does. It plays almost exactly like Sonic Rush, therefore calling it Rush 3 is technically fair.
@Amuro
You’re right, but I have to say, the modern stages in Generations on 3DS felt more a bit more like more like Colors on the Wii (except completely in 2D) than Rush, or Colors DS.
I am hoping for another Rush-style game on the 3DS with her playable.
@Skai Cyan
I would probably be called Sonic Cosmic Rush or something like that instead of just Sonic Rush 3D.
By the way, does Blaze have her Burst Hover or Axel Tornado move from Rush, and can she absorb fire like in Rush Adventure?
@TheMagicalDreamer
Agreed. Big would be amazing.
YAY, BALZE, INSTANT BUY !
@Robothobo64
Agreed, to be a true continuation of the Sonic Rush series it needs both Sonic and Blaze as playable characters, also to improve the gameplay of past Sonic Rush games, they went a step back by removing the trick system and a step forward a very different direction with the wisp gimmicks.
Cool. I wasn’t expecting her so early.
