Sonic Jump hacked; secret characters revealed

Sonic Jump has been already released in New Zealand, and that means that people are already diving into it’s innings and bringing us the secrets it contains.

Spanish site Sonic Paradise reported that some users from the Russian Community’s Sonic-World board had access to the game and since then they have hacked it contents to show everyone the secrets inside of it’s data.

Well known scener Mefiresu, along with his pal Sly has discovered lots of characters sprite sheets, background images, and several other resources of the game, including sprites for Amy as a playable character.

There is also hints at Cream, Silver, Rouge, Shadow and Blaze as possible playable characters. They surely confirm they are in the game somehow.

It’s easy, because those IPA files that represent iOS games are, in fact, just .ZIP files with a different extension.

Didn’t realize there were avid hackers in my home territory. I also didn’t notice this on the New Zealand iOS store. Shame on me lol.

Gotta say, those cutscene panels, cut-outs and sprites actually look really good; they should use this pseudo cell-shaded art direction of this game for the next mainstream game.

Shadow is shown in there. What are you talking about?

Though, its notable that only an artwork of him was posted (and he doesn’t have a full artwork; he just appears on the world one with all the characters). Rouge, Silver, Blaze, and Cream are also in. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are the only ones with full animation sheets (so far).

Gee sorta looks like Chronicles – The Dark Brotherhood artwork…reminds me of it anyways lolz

Just had a play with it myself, it’s pretty simple yet addictive as hell. Kinda like Sketchog. You wanna just get that bit further and beat your last score. Well worth the small price tag 😀

New Knuckles art yay!!

First game in a long while that has playable friends (the one I care about), is a shitty mobile game. *Lays head in hands and cries softly*

If only those sprites where for a traditional 2-D Sonic game… Still it’s nice to see Knuckles and Amy back, especially her since in a game about jumping, she’s pretty much the one that will dominate this.
