Sonic Amiibo Now Available Despite Limited Supply

It was a question all month but now it seems the matter has been resolved. The Sonic Amiibo, available for use with the new edition of Super Smash Brothers, can now be purchased.

Exactly where, however, is a different story. The Sonic Amiibo has had a similar fate as the other Amiibo figures. They’re selling. A lot. So much so that they vanish in mere minutes. Recently, of this article’s writing, you could currentl get the Amiibo at Wal-Mart:

That didn’t last long. Not even five minutes later all of them were bought:

This isn’t the first time either. Sonic was at Target a few days ago:

A little more than an hour later the Amiibo was gone again:

According to one user the Amiibo has also been available at GameStop. Further searching suggest Sonic will be in limited supply, stocks are not too high, and some are still not getting the Amiibo for a week.

It seems those who want a Sonic Amiibo will not get one with ease. Be warned. If you want one, get it soon.

UPDATE: Best Buy can now be added to the list of retail stores that the Sonic Amiibo has showed up at. It can also be added to the list of retail stores that ran out of the Amiibo within minutes.
