Wreckserendum Results – What Generations Levels Are Most Anticipated?

Been meaning to write this up for while now, but our Sonic Generations related Wreckserendem poll is indeed over.  We asked a very simple question:  “Which Sonic Generations levels are you most looking forward to seeing?“

The options were the three time periods/eras – Classic, Dreamcast and Modern – and well, the results are quite interesting.

• Dreamcast Era lead the way with 50% of the votes (119 votes overall).
• This was something of a surprise as I’m sure many were expecting the Classic era to cakewalk it.  As it turned out Classic had to settle for second and 28%.
• The Modern Era took the expected third place with 22% – although for a while near the end it actually pushed Classic into third place.

What would the Classic fans have made of that I wonder?
