   2. Don’t jump the gun too quickly, it could just be something very small and I highly doubt they’re going to announce the “big game” on Hedgehog Day.
      But I’m not one to rain on parades so go ahead and grab a champagne bottle, shake it and spray it on your friends!

3. That depends, is it a Sonic game that’s actually GOOD on 3DS? Something that ISN’T another iOS runner, like maybe a new fighting game? Is it a console game that actually TRIES being a Sonic game with some worthwhile content on the level of Unleashed/Black Knight for once instead of everything that is games from Colors to Lost World to everything that Boom has put out?

   1. I exactly I agree with you man, I think its time to step away from the sonic color saga crap and start being original just like sonic unleashed, sonic adventure, shadow the hedgehog, etc.

12. Just let it be a good game announcement. He said “some of us”, so that probably means that it’s something he knows only a certain portion of the fans will be interested in. It’s likely not the big 25th anniversary game announcement, but it could be one of the other games we were told about for this year.

    As long as it’s not a third Boom game, or a Colors 2, or a Sonic 4: Episode 3, or some crap like that. Most anything positive would be GREAT…

    1. Fire and Ice trailer is the most likely thing to happen.

       1. Except we already had trailers and such for Fire&Ice last year, that and he said it’d be something we’re interested in. I pretty much forgot Fire & Ice existed like, a week or so after they put out the trailer and screens.

    2. I’m gonna be honest, as unpopular this may be, I’d like an Episode 3 of Sonic 4. Or more specifically, I want the whole Sonic 4 saga redone with many improvements, and of course, using classic Sonic and characters. That is wishful thinking, but anything is possible, right?

       1. Tbh, the only way I’d accept more Sonic 4 is thru the latter.
          If they completely redo EVERYTHING from the ground up, making it feel like what a sequel to Sonic 3&K should be. Then maybe I’d let it slide. But even at that, we already had the Advance games and hell, Advance 1 is pretty much S4 the way I see it.
          Really, it’s sad with Sonic 4, if Megaman could have not one, but 2 full on entires in it’s series be downloadable games, yet not only retain the style and gameplay of the NES versions, how hard was it for SEGA to actually give more than 2 fucks to shell out something more than what we got.
          Then again, I think I heard that originally S4 was just meant to be a portable game but then got hyped up as Sonic 4 for reasons. Soo yeah.

14. So it is a singular thing coming in February, so probably a trailer for Fire and Ice, a teaser for the movie we haven’t heard about in ages, or a teaser/trailer for the 25th Anniversary game. Hoping for at least something like this, especially for the 25th Anniversary game.

       They should edit the official channels’ title to this:

       “Sonic The Hedgehog FB/Twitter page:

       It’s a bit long for a title I know, but it’s very informative. 😀

24. I expect mems to be made on April 1st. But February is a good time for first announces of Sonic Team game. There is only one reason that 2015 was mem-heavy: lack of content to announce.

    1. If they say that only “some of us” will be happy… I don’t feel that it will be the Sonic 2016 game announcement. That game is supposed to be big. It’s supposed to be something Sonic will be known for in the real world.
       If they go by: “Eh, some of you may like it…”, then it’s either not the 2016 game… or they gave up on the franchise when they basically say that their big anniversary title is already disliked by a significant part of the fanbase.

25. What if(Plot twist): Mister Webber announcing Big’s big Fishing Adventure 3 was teasing us Sonic Adventure 3 the whole time.
