Sega Shuts Down IRC Servers After Complaints

This just in from Crimson Fury.  Due to a letter being posted in Electronic Gaming Monthly, Sega’s IRC operators have walked off the job.  This is an eyewitness account from him:

Because of a letter someone sent into Electronic Gaming Monthly, that was complaining about how bad the people that ran the server were. The ops walked out yesterday!! and rooms from #sonic to #dreamcast were being flooded like mad. So what does Sega do?? They shut down Sega’s ENTIRE IRC server! I don’t know if it will be permanently down, but from what I can see, it might be.
