Sega News Shorts 2/25/2000
We know Sonic isn’t all you get out of Sega. That said, here are shorts about other Sega games, and DC-related material.
Sega Otaku: Shenmue could be coming to the States by October! EBWorld has posted a release date of October 2nd, 2000 for the FREE-based game. Apparently it’s because the game might be dubbed, and not subtitled like many Sega fans want.
Sega Otaku: In Japan, you can soon shop online with your Dreamcast! Sega has announced that for 2500 yen a month, you will receive a special account number, which charges purchases to your credit card, and you can shop online without even giving out your CC number! Is that safe or what? But right now, neither Sega of America or of Europe has follower suit yet.
SegaWeb: E3 2000 is coming, and it will be huge. There will be 400 exhibitors that cover 548,000 square feet. When divided all up, Sega will have plenty of room to showcase their stuff. It all happens May 11-13, and the Sonic Scene will have complete, unrivaled coverage of the event over three days. And we mean complete (you won’t believe what I have planned…)
