Sega and Microsoft Still in Talks?

MCV has posted this little tidbit that may contradict previous reports:

Speaking with MCV moments after Bill Gates left the stage at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, Calif., last week, a Sega official said the Dreamcast maker and Microsoft are “still in discussions.” Sega’s admittance of talks confirms MCV’s story from last week.

Microsoft’s X-Box is without exclusive content, notes the official. Part of the reason Microsoft brought its leader to the game developer-focused event was to garner support from developers for its new console.
