Saturn, Genesis Emulators in Development for DC

Tired of waiting for Sega to say something on the alleged SatCast, or annoyed that bleem! only made a PSX emulator for the DC? Now, a team known as the Tempest DC Team are working on two emulators for the console, one for Saturn games, and one for Genesis games.

The first project, Lunar, will emulate the Saturn on the Dreamcast. Tempest DC Team claims that an attempt to run a Saturn game using Lunar on the Dreamcast has been successful.

The second project, GenCast, is destined to play old Genesis games on your Dreamcast, though how this would be done due to format issues (Genesis used cartridges, DC uses GD-ROMs) is unknown. It’s possible ROM images would be uploaded to a disc and would be ready for play on a Dreamcast.
