Samba Maracas Usable in SA?

If you do cough up the seventy bucks for maracas, it looks like not only will you be able to use them in Samba, but Sonic Adventure as well. A Japanese magazine is reporting that shaking one in the game will make characters jump, and and other will perform a spin dash. Keep in mind that SA was never designed with the Samba controllers in mind. Confirmation of this should come soon.
