SAGE 2009: Sonic Babies

For a bit of a change from the normal demo’s and fan-games that get entered into SAGE, Funstar Entertainment have created a low budget “Mario (but no Mario, Sonic) Party” game.

It’s the day of the week again, the day when babysitter Knuckles brings Sonic and his babies friends to their local amusement park! But when they accidently heard an evil plan from a stranger there, the babies know it’s up to themselves to save their local amusement park (Oh, and the world along the way) before it’s too late!

The booth for Sonic Babies brings with it a demo packed with 10 mini games involving all the main stream characters from the Sonic world. In the full demo they hope to include as much as 20 different mini games to play.

The booth has a lot of information and a lot of screenshots. Most importantly is the inclusion of the demo, however, there are some well produced trailers advertising the game as well.

The team are also asking for help from the readers by posting a poll on future developments and including a comments section inside the booth.

Personally, I found the demo difficult to use at times. I strongly suggest reading the keyboard controls before playing unlike I did.
