SAGE 2000: Blaze’s Netcast Canceled, then Back On
Late yesterday, Blaze announced he could not get Shoutcast working, and would cancel his live broadcast for SAGE. However, that has changed:
K, the clock is about to hit 6AM here, and I’m getting ready to hit the hay folks. The good news? Davie Slam was kind enough to show me how to get Shoutcast working. What does this mean? The Live Netcast Is Back! I successfully tested several CDs, as well as MP3s, and the microphone utility, and they all work perfect, in crystal-clear-ness. So, as I said below before, the Live Netcast now dubbed Live SAGEcast will debut tommorr- er, today, at whenever I wake up. (this could be any time between 12PM – 5PM Mountain Standard- Yes, I’m lazy.. not like I don’t deserve it) The show will feature total pointless rambling by me… and, if my computer doesn’t LAG so much, a complete overview of all the SAGE booths. 🙂 (I might do that anyways, just write down the booths ahead of time, since I visited them all anyways)
“How will I know when your broadcasting?” — I suggest you come to the site every 3 seconds to see if I posted. (And to drive my hit counter through the roof :X) When the time comes, I will provide the IP Address/Realplayer file to connect. (posted here, of course) In the event that my computer crashes, since I have a dynamic IP (I think. I don’t know, when I checked my IP last time my CPU crashed, it didn’t seem to change) I will provide a new IP address for you all to connect to. The SAGEcast will last hopefully several hours, unless my computer absolutely fails to comply. (In which I will post here, telling you all.) That’s about it. See you all tomorrow.
