SA World Rankings: Latest on Cheating

Crimson Fury sent me the latest on the World Rankings, and people are still cheating…

Despite the fact that Sega told gamers that they would be banned if they used Gameshark, they still did. About seven have so far. So the best any honest gamer can place is 8th.

I’m not participating in any more WR events, and neither are many of my WR friends. Most of us want the WR stopped. Because A) it’s just not fun anymore, B)Sega’s not rewarding people with prizes anymore (since they think were all cheating, and most of us are). And C) Sega wont ban those people, they said they would ban cheat pad users!! And guess what?? They didn’t! They just kept the WRs going, and ignored the fact that people were still cheating.

So will Sega ban those people?? Not likely. Since people who use cheat pads can still play without Sega doing anything to them.

I quote (From The Sonic Scene),
“Perhaps more gamers will participate in the WRs now that cheaters at least have a chance of being stopped.”
No.

This means, sorry WR hopefuls, there’s really no incentive to playing anymore.
