New Sonic The Hedgehog Portal Up

Yes people, what seems to be replacing Sonic City/Central is this site here by SEGA: http://www.sonicthehedgehog.com

Acting as a new portal for all things Sonic, with links to various newer games sending you to the SEGA site for information, a anniversary page with the “Unstoppable” video. A community page that is only available in the UK and American versions of the site which consists of the Sonic Facebook Page and SEGA twitter page.

I was going to ask why no Sonic blogs but remembered that they haven’t updated the Sonic one and the fact that they’re currently down doesn’t help either, and finally a download section which has all the wallpapers from this year from Sonic Channel.

Thanks to some interesting pictures that were found on the site thanks to Woun over at the Sonic Stadium, it can only be suggested that the initial release for the site was on Sonic’s birthday.
