New Mario & Zelda, Overseen by Miyamoto
Shigeru Miyamoto was interviewed at E3 stating new Mario, Zelda and Pikmin games were in development at Nintendo which is a cause for celebration among many gamers. He later went into more detail about the Zelda team being an experienced unit who have made previous Zelda games and the Pikmin team working closely by him. All was silent on the Mario front until a revelation that all three teams were actually working in close proximity to him…”So I can keep a good eye on them.”
“Making these ‘traditional’ games is what I am best at. Because games of that nature take upwards of two or three years to make, we always have to keep the teams working on those projects going.”
So for the lack of hardcore games shown at this years E3 it’s good to know Nintendo are at least preparing new iterations of it’s most popular and loved series’. Now all we have to do is wait patiently for some news on them…
