As previously reported the English version of the official Sonic Runners website has launched. However the contents of the website have proven to be of note as well.

More details of the characters were mentioned. They will be separated by type and alignment and will have their own special moves.

Sonic
Type: Speed/Hero
Tap the screen while in the middle of a jump to perform a special action.

Tails
Type: Fly/Hero
Tails is a Fly type character Tap and hold mid-jump, and he’ll float in the air.

Knuckles
Type: Power/Hero
Knuckles is a Power-type character. Tap mid-jump, and he’ll launch a dash attack.

App information on the game was also listed.
